The castel of SedanOn the border of the Ardennes, the castle of Sedan, situated on a promontory on the Meuse river, symbolizes resistance to invasions.

It is the largest fortress in medieval Europe with 35,000 m² over seven floors and over 7m wide walls. The castle of Sedan is now a tourist mecca of the Ardennes.
