The Eiffel TowerThe Eiffel Tower is an iron tower built by Gustave Eiffel and his colleagues for the Universal Exhibition of 1889. Situated at one end of the Champ de Mars and bordering the Seine, this Parisian monument, the symbol of France and its capital, was 300 meters tall at its construction and following a number of additions (antennas) now totals 325m, making it today the most magnificent radio and television transmitter.
